Ashley Haynes is an instructional technology leader, and nationally recognized conference presenter with a passion for helping educators leverage technology to create meaningful learning experiences. She has presented at national, regional, and state conferences including ISTE, FETC, NCTIES, NCBOLD, and numerous other professional learning events, sharing practical strategies that educators can immediately implement in their classrooms.
Ashley holds a Master of Education in Learning, Design, and Technology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and has facilitated professional learning for audiences ranging from one-on-one coaching sessions to presentations with well over 100 educators. She has partnered extensively with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction's Digital Learning Team and was selected to serve on the North Carolina AI Collaborative Cohort, helping shape the thoughtful integration of artificial intelligence in North Carolina schools.
During her tenure with Cabarrus County Schools, Ashley secured more than $100,000 in grant funding to expand opportunities for students and staff. She served as a K-8 Math, Science, and ELA curriculum writer, Infinite Campus Specialist and trainer, managed school learning management systems, oversaw website and social media communications, and coordinated the deployment and management of more than 700 student and staff devices through Google Admin and Mosyle. In addition, she served on numerous district committees and provided district-wide professional development focused on educational technology, digital learning, and innovative instructional practices.
For the 2026–2027 school year, Ashley is excited to serve students and educators as a substitute teacher in Lincoln County Schools while continuing to present, consult, and support schools in their technology and AI journeys.
When she's not exploring the latest innovations in educational technology, Ashley enjoys spending time with her two daughters and her college sweetheart. Whether she's reading, designing creative resources, or making memories with family and friends, she believes that curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning are at the heart of everything she does.
